About Steppingstones
Stepping Stones Museum is an award-winning children's museum located in Norwalk, Connecticut. Our mission is to broaden and enrich the educational opportunities for children ages ten and under, enhancing their understanding of the world. We believe that learning is an active, lifelong process that begins with curiosity and is motivated by interest and enjoyment.
At Stepping Stones, we provide a wide range of exhibits, programs, and services that inspire children to lead healthy and fun lives. Our initiatives include the Open Arms program, which ensures that all children and families have access to our offerings. We also have the Early Language and Literacy Initiative (ELLI), which promotes strong language and literacy development through intergenerational reading and STEAM-based programs.
Furthermore, we have the Healthy Children, Healthy Communities program, which features exhibits, programs, and services that encourage positive, sustainable choices for good health and wellness at home, school, and in the community.
