Sternzeit Design

Sternzeit Design is a Berlin-based furniture brand offering handcrafted pieces inspired by Mid-Century and Bauhaus design. Its collection includes chairs and armchairs, sofas, stools, benches, shelves, tables, and accessories, organized into series such as Apollo, Beam, Cube, Pluto, Retrostar, and Supernova, alongside special editions. The brand presents its work as a distinctive alternative to mass-produced furniture, combining timeless, pared-back forms with expressive details and durable construction.

Furniture is made to order in Europe, with production located within roughly 200 kilometres of Berlin. Customers can personalize products across more than 50 models, with over 10,000 variations, and can request further adjustments. Sternzeit Design also offers fabric and leather information, free fabric samples, gift vouchers, and a showroom experience to help customers choose materials and finishes. Its special editions include designs featuring fabrics developed for the Netflix series The Queen’s Gambit and a comic-print collaboration with Berlin artist Wolfgang Kaliga. The brand provides repair support and replacement parts, and highlights local production and sustainability as part of its approach.
