Sterrecoach

SterreCoach is a child coaching practice focused on helping children and young people rediscover their strengths, build confidence and feel able to shine. Its coaching is positive, accessible and solution-oriented, with each child’s qualities and abilities forming the basis of support. SterreCoach works with children aged 4 to 18 who have social or emotional concerns, adapting its approach to their age, developmental stage and individual needs.

The process begins with an approximately one-hour intake to understand the child’s concerns and what is already going well. SterreCoach then develops a practical plan with the parents and keeps them involved through ongoing and final evaluations. Coaching sessions explore challenges, set goals, identify strengths and positive experiences, and help the child take small steps toward a preferred future. A safe, trusting relationship is central to the work, and the coach’s friendly golden retriever, Moos, may be present during sessions. Intakes and coaching usually take place at the practice, with home visits possible on request.
