The Festa del Maggio di San Pellegrino is a community celebration presented by the Associazione Maggiaioli San Pellegrino. Rooted in local tradition and legend, the event is associated with the year 1004 and highlights the cultural heritage of San Pellegrino. Its programme features a celebration on 30 April and a torchlight procession, or fiaccolata, inviting visitors to discover the story and customs behind the occasion.
The association’s website provides information about the legend, the tradition and the procession, alongside a photo and video gallery that documents the festivities. Visitors can also find directions for reaching San Pellegrino and information on how to support the association. The site encourages people to share their own photos, helping build a collective record of the celebration.
With its focus on local history, shared participation and community support, the Festa del Maggio brings together cultural storytelling and an established public event. The Associazione Maggiaioli San Pellegrino can be contacted by phone or email for further information
