Steve McCarthy Celebrant is an independent celebrancy service based in Mordialloc, in Melbourne’s south-eastern suburbs. Steve works with couples and families to create relaxed, personal ceremonies shaped around their preferences, style and occasion. His services include weddings, vow renewals and naming ceremonies, with options to tailor each ceremony to suit individual needs, including particular themes. He aims to help clients feel at ease, keep the event running smoothly and ensure the ceremony meets the necessary legal requirements where applicable.

Drawing on a long career in human resources and more than 40 years as an Australian Rules football umpire, Steve describes himself as a people person who enjoys meeting people from different backgrounds. He is available to travel beyond Mordialloc, with additional charges applying for longer distances and any required air travel or accommodation. Ceremony pricing depends on the time involved and travel: weddings start at $650, vow renewals at $500 and naming ceremonies at $400, with an additional fee for each extra child at a naming ceremony.
