Walker Beach provides beach volleyball training through clinics and the Steve Walker Sand Volleyball Camp, helping players build strong fundamentals and develop their game in the sand. The program welcomes volleyball players seeking an engaging, challenging way to gain experience with beach volleyball and its demands. Training emphasizes the all-around skills needed in the two-player format, including passing, setting, defending, serving, hitting, and court coverage. The site notes that sand play can also support indoor players’ fundamentals, anticipation, decision-making, fitness, confidence, and versatility.

The camp is led by Steve Walker, a former University of Arizona indoor associate head coach and head sand volleyball coach. Its approach is reflected in participant feedback praising detailed instruction and energetic coaching. Walker Beach offers clinic registration and provides information for visitors, including directions, coaching staff details, beach volleyball resources, and frequently asked questions and policies. The Steve Walker Sand Volleyball Camp is not an official function of the University of Arizona, and participation is open to entrants subject to limits based on number, grade level, and/or gender.
