About Stichting Amal Nederland
Stichting Amal Nederland is a dedicated organization striving to improve the lives of underprivileged children, primarily in Somalia. "Amal" meaning hope in Somali, reflects our mission to provide opportunities and support to these children in need. We focus on offering training, education, and medical assistance to enable self-sufficiency and a brighter future for them.
Despite facing financial challenges due to COVID-19, in 2022, Stichting Amal continued to provide vital community support. One impactful example is our assistance to Ibrahim, an eight-year-old with birth complications, by funding his physiotherapy and leg braces. This exemplifies our unwavering commitment to enhancing lives, especially during tough times.
Our projects have successfully equipped disadvantaged youth in Somalia with practical skills like tailoring, electrical work, cooking, and carpentry, enhancing their socio-economic prospects. The measurable outcomes include increased employment opportunities and new businesses post-training, showcasing the lasting positive impact of Stichting Amal Nederland.
