Zwembad De Blinkerd is a community-run outdoor swimming pool in Ten Boer, Groningen, managed by Stichting tot beheer en exploitatie van sportvoorzieningen in Ten Boer. It offers a welcoming place for visitors of all ages to swim, play and relax during the swimming season. The facilities include a 25-metre pool for lane swimming, a recreational pool, a 35-metre water slide, diving boards and a shallow pool for young children. Visitors can also enjoy a sunbathing lawn with climbing equipment, while a kiosk serves drinks, ice cream and fries.
De Blinkerd provides swimming lessons in a familiar setting, helping participants work toward swimming certificates. The pool also offers season subscriptions, with online purchasing available when sales are open. Its programme includes recreational swimming and the traditional end-of-season Baas en Hond event, when visitors can swim with their dogs. The pool is supported by volunteers and invites community members to help keep it operating.
