Stichting Familie van der Kooij is a Dutch genealogical foundation established on 1 November 1973 by Teun, Rien, Aat and Johan van der Kooij. For more than 50 years, it has researched families with the surnames van der Kooi, van der Kooij and related spellings. The foundation also publishes work on family histories, genealogy and historically significant properties.

Its community includes nearly 300 supporters, including members from abroad, across several family branches. These include the Delflandse, Alblasserwaardse, Voorburgse, Wassenaarse, Flakkeese and Dordrechtse branches, as well as northern branches. Supporters can contribute from €17.50 per year and receive four issues of the foundation’s magazine, De Eendenkooi.

The website provides family-tree information, news, an agenda and a guestbook, and shares updates about publications and activities. The foundation also welcomes contributions to its magazine and seeks volunteers. It has received ANBI status, reflecting its recognised public-benefit designation in the Netherlands. Through its research, publications and community activities, the foundation helps preserve and share the history of the van der Kooi(j)(y) families.
