CSU Știința–Politehnica București is the university sports club of the National University of Science and Technology Politehnica Bucharest. The club combines athletic development with education, encouraging young pupils and students to pursue achievement through sustained effort, fair play and strong character. Its tradition and sporting results underpin a mission to develop people as well as performers.

The club offers opportunities across a broad range of sports, including handball, football, basketball in both five-a-side and 3x3 formats, volleyball, rugby, motocycling, kempo, climbing and mountaineering, as well as other sports. Teams and programmes include senior and women’s squads, alongside youth football groups. Through its connection with the university, the club highlights access to higher education for high-performing athletes, including admission without an examination under the stated programme. It also shares club news and information about projects such as Erasmus+, and invites organisations to support sporting performance through partnership. Funded by the Ministry of Education and the university, CSU Știința–Politehnica București presents itself as a formative sports club rooted in Bucharest and committed to developing athletic potential.
