Stillberatung im Rottal

Stillberatung im Rottal is the breastfeeding and lactation consultancy of Rhiannon Grill, based in Schönau, Germany. A qualified paediatric nurse since 2008, Grill has worked in paediatric and maternity care and has specialist training in breastfeeding and infant handling. She provides individual support, recognising that every breastfeeding relationship is different. Appointments are available at her practice, by telephone and, by arrangement, through home visits.

The service supports families with common breastfeeding challenges, including feeding pain, milk supply concerns, blocked ducts, weight gain and latch-related difficulties. Grill also advises on more complex circumstances, such as premature or ill babies, multiple births, breastfeeding after surgery, relactation, adoptive breastfeeding and oral restrictions. Families can discuss topics including returning to work, combination feeding, starting solids and weaning.

Her offerings include breastfeeding preparation and complementary-feeding courses, weight checks, information on bonding and co-sleeping, and guidance on breastfeeding aids and alternative supplementation. Seasonal complementary-feeding courses and a monthly breastfeeding and babywearing café are also offered through local partners.
