Stinky Rugs

Stinky Rugs is a small, owner-run laundry and care business based in Bloxham, Oxfordshire, serving horse owners and pet owners. Founded by Christina, the business offers horse rug washing, reproofing and repairs, alongside laundry services for pet bedding. It aims to provide a fast, reliable service with flexible drop-off and collection arrangements to fit customers’ schedules, including options outside typical office hours.

Rugs are cleaned using proven Nikwax equine products in large washing machines, then air dried to help preserve and protect them. Stinky Rugs also follows a no-plastic policy, reflecting its stated commitment to caring for the environment. Services include cleaning and reproofing turnout rugs, washing stable rugs, coolers, sheets and Thermatex items, and cleaning smaller products such as saddlecloths, numnahs and bandages. Repairs are priced individually, with a minimum charge.

Customers can request same-day or next-day service for an additional fee, subject to the stated conditions. Stinky Rugs welcomes enquiries about collections, deliveries, cleaning advice and rug repairs, and serves customers from its Bloxham location.
