Stjärnbacken HVB

Stjärnbacken HVB is a residential care home focused on supporting children’s wellbeing, development and sense of safety. Its guiding principle is to give every child an opportunity for change, while protecting their right to a secure and happy childhood. The team uses clear routines and boundaries to create predictability and stability, helping children understand their own behaviour and that of others. With a high staff-to-child ratio, Stjärnbacken can provide individual attention, build trusting relationships and help each child recognise and strengthen their personal resources.

Set in a peaceful, nature-rich environment, the home offers access to a lake, boat and pier. Outdoor time and recreational activities are an important part of daily life, creating opportunities for movement, shared experiences and relationship-building. Stjärnbacken’s approach combines consistent support with positive activities and a calm setting, aiming to help children feel secure as they grow and develop. Its website also provides information about the home, its methods and approach, staff, accommodation, activities, visits and employment opportunities.
