The Centre offers various activities and workshops, including woodwork, joinery, arts and crafts, and gardening.

These group activities not only provide a space for individuals to learn new skills but also allow for social interaction with others who may understand their experiences. There are also structured volunteering opportunities available, providing attendees with work experience and the chance to develop new talents. St Margaret's Centre is proud to be a partner of the Durham Mental Wellbeing Alliance, working closely with Durham County Council to provide vital mental health services across the county.

The Centre also has a dedicated Support Worker who can assist with a wide range of issues affecting mental health, offering practical and emotional support.
