Stock CO2 is a French carbon contribution platform connecting businesses, forest owners and farmers with projects certified under the government’s Label Bas-Carbone. Its portfolio includes afforestation and reforestation, farming practices, hedgerows, orchards and building projects across France. Companies can select initiatives near their sites or in regions important to them, with project details available before they contribute.
Stock CO2 supports customers throughout the process: helping them choose projects, arrange funding and follow progress. Contributions are held in a trust structure and released to project leaders as milestones are reached. Contributors can access project updates, photographs, certificates and communication tools through a dedicated online space, and can also centralise information about carbon projects funded elsewhere.
The platform serves more than 200 businesses and organisations and lists 342 certified projects spanning forest and agricultural land across 11 French regions. Stock CO2 says its projects deliver benefits beyond carbon, including for biodiversity, water, soils and local employment. The company has been a Certified B Corporation since 2024.
