Stolairus

Stolairus Aviation Inc. is a Transport Canada-approved maintenance and manufacturing organization based at Kelowna International Airport. The company supports small and medium-sized aircraft, with particular expertise in the De Havilland DHC-2 Beaver and DHC-3 Otter. It holds numerous Canadian and U.S. Supplemental Type Certificates for these aircraft, covering products and modifications such as STOL kits, wing-angle and upgross kits, float-related modifications, cargo net kits, baggage changes, and seating configurations. Its Otter offerings also include a GE (Walter) turbine conversion and a Yukon cargo door modification.

Stolairus provides aircraft maintenance, repairs, modifications, manufacturing, and welding services. Its approvals include Aircraft, Structures, and Welding ratings, and it can perform non-specialized maintenance on piston- and turbine-powered aircraft up to 12,500 pounds, as well as specialized and non-specialized repair, modification, and welding work. Operations are conducted from an integrated hangar and office facility within a larger airport complex, with dedicated ramp space. Stolairus aims to help keep Beaver and Otter aircraft, along with other aircraft in its service range, maintained and operating.
