Stone Bridge Alpacas

Stone Bridge Alpacas, also known as Stone Bridge Farm, is a small, owner-operated alpaca farm run by Denise Curran in Griswold, southeastern Connecticut. The farm focuses on breeding high-quality alpacas for breeding stock and making practical use of their soft fleece through its “Home Grown” approach. Visitors can learn about the farm’s female alpacas and herdsires, explore its gallery and alpaca information, and find details about events and farm visits.

The Farm Shoppe sells products made from alpaca fiber, including farm-knitted items, natural-color 100% alpaca yarn, roving by the ounce, and dyed, multicolored fiber. It also offers bulky alpaca rug yarn spun around a jute core and handwoven area rugs made with alpaca-fiber weft and cotton warp. Products are available in different options and quantities through the online shop. Stone Bridge Farm also hosts Open Farm Weekends, including seasonal events in autumn and during the Christmas period, giving visitors an opportunity to experience the farm and its alpacas.
