Stonehaven Kennels is a premier boarding kennel located just west of Calgary, Alberta. Our facility, situated on Hwy 22X, offers a beautiful retreat for your beloved pets. With 40 dog runs and 5 cat condos, we provide a comfortable and safe environment for your furry family members.

At Stonehaven Kennels, we prioritize the well-being of your pets. We offer both short and long-term boarding options, making it convenient for you during travel, home renovations, or when you simply need some hair free time. Our rates include three off-leash playtimes each day, medication administration, and any other necessary care.

When you check-in, we kindly ask that you leave your pets in the car while we confirm dates and feeding instructions to minimize any potential accidents or confrontations. If your pup requires bedding, you can bring your own, although we do provide blankets and beds. We also ensure that dogs receive daily off-leash playtime and affectionate cuddles while staying with us.

Stonehaven Kennels prioritizes the safety and health of all animals in our care. We require up-to-date vaccinations for dogs and cats, including DHPP and Rabies for dogs and FVRCP and Rabies for cats. However, if your pet is unable to receive vaccinations due to health reasons, we are happy to discuss alternative options.

When it comes to medication, please bring treats or canned food for administering pills to ensure the medication is easily consumed. Additionally, if your pet has a recent injury, is recovering from surgery, or is currently wearing a cone, please contact us to discuss whether we can accommodate their needs. Our check-in hours are between 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm, and check-out is from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, seven days a week.

If you pick up your pet by 12:00 pm on the day of departure, there will be no additional charge. However, if you pick up after 12:00 pm, an extra fee will apply. Stonehaven Kennels is more than just a kennel—we create a camp-like atmosphere where your pets can feel at home.

We understand the unique bond between humans and animals and strive to provide exceptional care with our hearts. Our owner, Cheryl, has a personal connection to the kennel and believes in the guiding forces of the universe, which led her to this business.
