Stone Veterinary Services is a mobile veterinary practice serving Northeast Houston, bringing care directly to clients’ homes and barns. Founded in 2013 by Charity Stone, DVM, CVA, the practice focuses on comprehensive equine care, with a limited range of services for dogs. Dr. Stone combines traditional veterinary medicine with acupuncture and aims to build lasting relationships with patients and their families.

Equine services include wellness exams, vaccinations, dentistry, lameness evaluations, radiographs, laboratory testing, colic assessments, injury management, and other health care. Canine services include annual examinations, heartworm and parasite screening, routine laboratory diagnostics, and illness evaluations. Acupuncture is available for horses and dogs and may support care for concerns such as lameness, chronic pain, anhidrosis, and recurrent airway obstruction. Stone Veterinary Services also provides compassionate end-of-life care for horses, dogs, and cats in the comfort of home.

Dr. Stone earned her veterinary degree from Texas A&M University, completed an equine medicine and surgery internship at the University of Georgia, and trained in veterinary acupuncture through the Chi Institute.
