Originally a non-profit organic farming school, our co-founders Samuel Kaymen and Gary Hirshberg were determined to support family farms, promote healthy food production, and protect the environment. They started by utilizing the farm's seven cows to make exceptional yogurt without the use of toxic pesticides or chemical fertilizers.

Today, Stonyfield Organic offers a wide range of organic yogurts, smoothies, milk, and cream, all made without artificial hormones, antibiotics, or genetically modified organisms (GMOs). We pride ourselves on supporting a vast network of over 40,000 organic acres of land and hundreds of organic family farms. We are committed to environmentally-friendly practices, including being one of the first manufacturers to offset emissions and using renewable energy for our manufacturing facility.
