Stoney Lake Reflections is a history-focused project dedicated to documenting and sharing the people, stories, and heritage of YMCA Storer Camps. Through a website, podcasts, photographs, videos, and other archival material, it explores the camp’s long history and the memories of those connected to it. The project features interviews with Storer alumni and community members, including conversations about their experiences and the values associated with camp. It also shares recordings from the archives, such as a virtual audio tour of Camp Storer in the 1980s.

Beyond publishing stories and media, Stoney Lake Reflections works with YMCA Storer Camps’ archives, drawing attention to the importance of cataloging, organizing, preserving, and eventually sharing historical records and artifacts. The project aims to help protect the camp’s visual and cultural history while making its materials more accessible. Its creator researches the collection, interviews contributors, and invites people interested in Storer’s history to connect and learn more.
