**Stop the Harm Database**
The Stop the Harm Database is a dedicated initiative aimed at raising awareness and providing critical information concerning sex change treatments performed on minors across the United States. Aligned with the mission of Do No Harm, this project collects and catalogs data from healthcare facilities to inform the public about the prevalence of such treatments. Between 2019 and 2023, a staggering 13,994 minors underwent these procedures, including surgeries and hormone therapies, leading to significant healthcare charges.
The database serves as a publicly accessible repository, detailing which children's hospitals are involved in these interventions, and facilitates understanding among healthcare providers and policymakers regarding trends in gender-related healthcare. Among its efforts, the project highlights the “Dirty Dozen”—a list of the top twelve hospitals exhibiting the most concerning practices in this area.
By shedding light on these issues, the Stop the Harm Database aims to encourage positive change and foster discussions on the protection of children within this complex healthcare landscape.
