Storchenzunft Steißlingen

Storchenzunft Steißlingen e.V. is a carnival association based in Steißlingen, Germany, dedicated to preserving Fasnet traditions and fostering a shared village celebration. Its history dates to 1933, when the carnival association was founded. It became the Durbenstecherzunft in 1949 and adopted the name Storchenzunft in 1954. The association is a founding member of the Narrenvereinigung Hegau-Bodensee and belongs to the Nellenburg district within that federation.

The Zunft brings together several groups: Narrenrat, Seeriedwieber, Seejungfrauen, Störche, Seestrueli and Holzer. Children and young people can take part in the Seejungfrauen, Störche and Holzer groups, which also have costumes for younger members. Individual characters include the Narrenbolizei, Fähnrich, Narreneltern and Neptun. Rather than offering commercial products or services, the association organizes and supports local carnival activities and events. Its website shares information about the Zunft, its history, upcoming dates and celebrations, including the Steißlinger Narrentage, as well as photo galleries documenting festivities.
