Storey is a UK architecture studio based in Exeter, specialising in contemporary residential design. The practice creates new homes, renovations and interior environments, shaping each project around how people live and the qualities of its setting. Its approach prioritises clarity, thoughtful planning and material honesty, with an emphasis on natural light, proportion and timeless detailing. Storey aims to make spaces feel calm, functional and refined without excess, balancing simplicity and warmth with lasting usefulness.

The studio’s services span private residential architecture, renovation projects and interior design, including the development of cohesive relationships between indoor spaces, landscape and outdoor living. Each project is guided by collaboration with clients, consultants and craftspeople, supported by clear communication and careful attention to detail from concept through completion. Storey also shares project work, process studies and reflections on subjects such as long-term living, materials, privacy and connection to place. Its goal is to create enduring homes that respond to their surroundings and continue to serve the people who live in them over time.
