Storfjord Hotel

Storfjord is a secluded luxury hotel in western Norway, set on a hillside above the Storfjord and the Sunnmøre Alps. Designed as a welcoming retreat close to nature, it features handcrafted log walls, timber interiors, art and views of the forest or fjord. The hotel offers 30 rooms and suites spread across four timber buildings, each with its own character, inviting guests to slow down and enjoy a peaceful stay.

Dining centers on seasonal, regional cooking in a fire-lit restaurant. Guests can also reserve a five-course dinner prepared over an open fire in the fjord-side boathouse, or dine around a fire in the forest lavvo. Storfjord’s experiences range from wellness to outdoor activities and discoveries on the fjord. Its intimate wellness area includes outdoor jacuzzis, a forest-view sauna and treatments that can be booked in advance.

The property also welcomes private gatherings and offers seasonal stays, including Christmas experiences and accommodation packages. With its natural setting and thoughtful hospitality, Storfjord brings together comfort, food and opportunities for stillness or adventure.
