About Storm Client
Storm Client is a free Minecraft launcher designed to bring game setup and community features together in one fast, modern app. Available for Windows 10 and 11, it supports vanilla Minecraft as well as Fabric, Forge, and NeoForge, with profiles that keep mods, memory allocation, Java runtimes, and worlds separate. The launcher manages Java for each profile, helping players avoid manual setup.
Users can browse and install mods from Modrinth and CurseForge, with dependencies handled by the app, and manage modpacks and game versions in one place. Storm Client also offers skin collections, cape previews and switching, a friends list, private chat, and Discord presence. Interface customization includes accent colours, backgrounds, and display options. The company describes the launcher as free, with optional 30-day VIP, VIP+, and STORM ranks that provide cosmetic and convenience extras, such as additional skin slots, custom capes, and early updates. Signed background updates are also included. macOS and Linux versions are in development and are not yet published.
