Located on the south side of Stortorget, just a stone's throw away from Storkyrkan, our restaurant has a rich history dating back to the 1930s. However, the area around Stortorget has been home to taverns and inns since the 15th century. Our cellar vaults were once home to the famous wine cellar, Spanska Druvan, during the reign of Johan III. Legend has it that the king often sat at our tables, enjoying a jug of wine in the glow of candlelight.

Stepping inside, you'll notice the influence of Carl Adolph Grevesmühl, who ran a popular furniture store and workshop in the 18th century. Even King Gustav III was a patron, commissioning handmade furniture for the palace. Today, you can still see the cannonball embedded in the corner of Stortorget and Skomakargatan, a testament to Grevesmühl's legacy.

We've taken great care to create an atmosphere that reflects both tradition and humble interpretation. Wood plays a central role in our design, symbolizing our commitment to timeless aesthetics.
