Story Productions is a Danish production company whose work includes factual television, documentary storytelling, reality formats and audio content. Its productions are made for broadcasters and platforms including DR, TV 2 and their associated services, such as DRTV and TV 2 PLAY, as well as DR LYD.
The company’s programmes explore relationships, family life, community and personal challenges through people’s real experiences. Vild kærlighed follows singles as they seek connection during dates in the wilderness, while Brixtofte – Helt, skurk, far examines the ambitions and contradictions surrounding Peter Brixtofte’s vision for a municipality. Ups, vi er voksne portrays the lives of adults with Down syndrome and the efforts of their families to create a home for them. Other projects include Konflikteksperimentet, which tests practical approaches to resolving everyday disputes, and To brødre og et forbandet løfte, a story about two brothers navigating a difficult promise.
Story Productions also creates lighter entertainment, including comedian Jan Gintberg’s work on a modern farm.
