Stowarzyszenie „SERCE”

Stowarzyszenie Rodzin Dzieci i Osób Niepełnosprawnych „SERCE” is a Polish association supporting children and adults with intellectual and physical disabilities, along with their families. Registered in 1990, the organization was founded to help families advocate for their children and navigate legal matters. Its work focuses on practical support, rehabilitation, and opportunities for participation and enjoyment.

SERCE offers manual activities and music therapy, assists with rehabilitation, and organizes rehabilitation stays. It also brings members together through events such as a Christmas celebration and Children’s Day, as well as sightseeing trips. The association carries out activities in accordance with its statutes and receives support through programs from the city government and PFRON, Poland’s State Fund for the Rehabilitation of Disabled Persons. It welcomes cooperation with other organizations and invites individuals to support its work by donating 1.5% of their tax, helping fund rehabilitation, residential rehabilitation stays, manual activities, and music therapy. Through these services and community activities, SERCE works to support people with disabilities and their families.
