Stowmarket Volleyball Club, established in 1976, has become one of Suffolk's leading volleyball teams, participating actively in both indoor and outdoor competitions. The club competes in the National Cup and Plate, as well as regional tournaments and the Suffolk League during the indoor season. In the warmer months, it engages in various beach and grass tournaments. The club trains primarily at Stowupland High School from September to Easter, with sessions also held at Suffolk New College in Ipswich.

Stowmarket VC offers a welcoming environment for players of all ages and skill levels, encouraging community involvement through open training sessions and free summer play on The Rec in Stowmarket. The club is closely connected with its sister-club, Stingers, which fields women's and mixed teams, expanding opportunities to participate in competitive volleyball. Dedicated to safety and inclusivity, the club upholds strict conduct and safeguarding policies, ensuring a supportive environment for all its members.
