STP

Stowarzyszenie Tenisowe Popowice (STP) is a tennis association in Wrocław, Poland, serving local tennis enthusiasts and their community. Its roots reach back to 1976, when the group operated as the Independent Tennis Society (NTT); the association was formally established on 24 January 2008. STP uses tennis courts rented from the Popowice Housing Cooperative and works with the cooperative on sports activities and the upkeep of the facilities.

The club’s activities are primarily aimed at members and their families, as well as invited guests. They include regular tennis, friendly matches, club events and tournaments. STP also organizes open competitions for adults, welcoming participants beyond its membership and encouraging both sporting competition and community connection. For children and young people, it runs sports activities, including events held for Children’s Day in cooperation with the housing cooperative.

Through its programs, the association promotes tennis, supports physical activity for people of different ages, brings local players together and maintains Popowice’s longstanding tennis traditions.
