About St. Pauls Within the Walls
St. Paul's Within the Walls is a vibrant and inclusive multi-cultural Episcopal church located in the heart of Rome. As the first non-Roman Catholic church within the city walls, it has a rich history dating back to 1873.
The church is known for its beautiful mosaics by Sir Edward Burne-Jones and George Breck, as well as its busy music program that offers concerts throughout the year. A key focus of St. Paul's outreach ministry is the Joel Nafuma Refugee Center (JNRC), which provides essential services to refugees and asylum seekers.
The church also hosts Sunday services in both English and Spanish, open to everyone, and encourages fellowship with coffee and conversation before and after the service. Located at Via Nazionale 16a, St. Paul's Within the Walls is easily accessible by Metro A (Repubblica) or buses (170-60-64-70-H-MA15).
