Strandjagtforeningen

Strandjagtforeningen for Als and Sundeved is a hunting association in southern Denmark, commonly known as Strandjagtforeningen. Originally established for coastal hunters, it is now open to hunters of all genders and ages, whether they own or rent hunting grounds, hunt along the coast or at sea, travel abroad to hunt, or simply maintain their hunting skills through shooting. New hunters are welcome, and experienced instructors offer guidance and support.

The association provides a varied programme of hunting-related and social activities. Members can take part in rifle shooting, clay pigeon shooting, shooting courses, laser-shot sessions, film evenings, lectures, and seasonal gatherings. The club also organises hunting events, including opportunities connected with trips abroad. While the association does not offer members hunting access on land, activities at its clubhouse have helped members build contacts and receive invitations to hunts.

Based in Broager, Strandjagtforeningen has a clubhouse on Illerstrandvej and is affiliated with the Danish Hunters’ Association. It welcomes people interested in hunting, shooting, learning, and community.
