St Raphael Education Foundation

St. Raphael Education Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to promoting, sustaining, and enhancing Eastern Orthodox Christian education. It serves Orthodox Christians in Klickitat County, Washington, and Wasco, Sherman, and Gilliam counties in Oregon. The foundation aims to improve educational opportunities in these communities by providing timely financial assistance and building lasting support for learning.

Its funding opportunities are intended to help Orthodox Christians pursue homeschooling, college, trade school, seminary studies, and additional training. The foundation also seeks to provide sustainable financial support for an Orthodox Christian day school in Goldendale, Washington. Eligible people in its service area can apply for assistance to further their education.

Individuals and communities can support the foundation’s work through donations, which are described as tax-deductible, or by praying for its efforts and seeking the intercessions of St. Raphael. The organization’s mission is to lay a financial foundation for Orthodox Christian education, supporting students today while working toward the possibility of a parish school in the future.
