StrataMax Games

StrataMax Games is an independent game design studio run by three people who balance demanding day jobs and family responsibilities with a shared passion for euro-style board games. The studio develops games on a range of subjects for different audiences and purposes. It publishes some titles under its own label, licenses others to larger publishers, and designs customized games and activities for scientific and management seminars.

Its featured titles include Eighth Air Force Commander, a one- to two-player deck-building game about directing the Allied strategic bombing campaign over Europe during the Second World War. Airborne Commander is another deck-building game, focused on improving paratroopers to achieve victory. StrataMax has licensed both titles to Word Forge Games.

The studio has also created games for Toxicology Excellence for Risk Assessment, which are used in seminars to illustrate concepts including dose response and data management. StrataMax welcomes questions about its games and services and indicates that a Kickstarter campaign is planned.
