Strathmore Polominos

Strathmore Polominos Water Polo Club is a community-based youth water polo club in Strathmore, Alberta, offering programs for athletes aged 6 to 17. Its 2026–2027 season includes Swim Like a Dolphin for ages 6–7, the 10U Pups program for ages 8–9, and co-ed 12U, 14U, and 17U divisions. Programs introduce young swimmers to water polo, build swimming ability, and develop sport-specific skills in a fun, supportive environment.

Older age groups combine swim technique and water polo training, with opportunities to take part in city league play, festivals, invitationals, and provincial finals; participation in these events is encouraged but not mandatory. Practices are held at the Strathmore Aquatic Centre, generally on Tuesdays, Thursdays, or both, with twice-weekly registration offered at a reduced rate. The club also provides an integrated Team Teal participation option, with inquiries handled by email.

Registration is available through RAMP. Club fees are separate from required Alberta Water Polo Association and Water Polo Canada fees, which are paid through the registration system
