Its multidisciplinary team includes psychiatrists, therapists and specialists, with board-certified leadership in general and addiction psychiatry.

Services include psychiatric evaluations and medication management, individual, family and couples psychotherapy, outpatient addiction treatment, and care for children and adolescents. The practice supports people experiencing concerns such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, trauma, substance use and opioid dependence. Treatment plans may combine medication, therapy, lifestyle approaches and other appropriate services. Advanced and interventional psychiatry options are also being developed.

Straun Health & Wellness offers secure, HIPAA-compliant virtual appointments to patients located in Connecticut, Massachusetts and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Most major insurance plans and HUSKY Health are accepted. The practice begins with a screening and consultation, then works with patients to coordinate individualized care. It is not an emergency service.
