About Strawbery Banke Museum
Welcome to Strawbery Banke Museum, a 10-acre campus dedicated to bringing over 300 years of New England history to life in the Puddle Dock neighborhood of Portsmouth, NH. Step back in time and immerse yourself in the rich history of the region, from Indigenous history to present day. On our campus, you can tour historic houses that are situated on their original foundations, where you'll meet engaging costumed roleplayers who bring the past to life.
Watch traditional crafts demonstrations and explore our beautifully preserved historical gardens and landscapes. Strawbery Banke Museum is a place for everyone – children, adults, multi-generational families, and groups – to gather and explore. With 110,000 visitors, members, schoolchildren, and volunteers annually, we offer daily programs, exhibits, skating, and signature special events throughout the year.
