STRAWCTURE ECO

Strawcture Eco develops eco-friendly building materials that turn agricultural residue into useful products, with the aim of reducing natural-resource depletion and the embodied carbon footprint of the built environment. Its AgriBioPanels are compressed agrifiber panels made from more than 90% straw and a proprietary binding adhesive, manufactured under high temperature and pressure. Available in three grades and thicknesses from 8mm to 35mm, the panels are presented as a renewable alternative to conventional materials.

The company describes its panels as fire-resistant, termite-proof and moisture-proof, with sound and thermal insulation properties, low VOC emissions and E1 certification. Strawcture offers panel applications for drywall, suspended ceilings, mezzanine flooring, solid-core doors and furniture. Depending on grade and thickness, panels can support mounted appliances, serve as flooring over steel frames, or provide a base for storage and furniture projects.
