Strayhaven Animal Shelter

Strayhaven Animal Shelter is a no-kill animal shelter in Greenville, Pennsylvania, serving the Mercer County community. Its mission is to enrich the community by promoting animal welfare. The shelter features adoptable animals and helps connect them with prospective homes. Visitors can explore adoption information, contact the shelter, and arrange a visit; appointments are preferred but not required.

Strayhaven also offers dog licenses as an agent for Mercer County. The shelter notes that a license must be purchased before an unlicensed dog brought in as a stray can be taken home. Community members can support its work through donations, fundraisers, volunteering, and participation in events such as Ulti-Mutt Bark Bark Bingo. Essential donations, including food, litter, and cleaning supplies, may be dropped off during business hours, and the shelter provides an Amazon wishlist for shipped supplies. A monthly newsletter shares updates about adoptable animals, events, and fundraisers. Strayhaven operates on donations and fundraising and welcomes community involvement in its animal welfare work.
