About STRECON A
STRECON A/S is a Danish midsized company that specializes in developing and manufacturing prestressing tool systems and hydraulic presses. They are known for their innovative stripwinding technology, which allows for high-precision polishing of tools and molds with specific dimensions and surface quality. In addition to their core products, STRECON also offers special machinery and equipment solutions tailored to individual customer needs.
With most of the manufacturing, assembly, and testing done in-house, they ensure the highest quality standards. The roots of STRECON can be traced back to the 1980s when it was developed as a product line at Danfoss by Dr. Jens Grønbæk.
Since becoming an independent company in 2001, STRECON has expanded its stripwinding technology to various applications, including cold and warm forging, diamond synthesis, and high-pressure experiments. They have also introduced a new tool system called PTS, applicable for horizontal and vertical press machines. In addition to their groundbreaking stripwinding technology, STRECON has also pioneered the development of a robot-assisted polishing machine system, known as RAP.
