About Street Soccer Foundation
The Street Soccer Foundation is a brand that aims to bring the power of football into communities nationwide. Their mission is to inspire and encourage vulnerable and disadvantaged children and young people to turn their lives around for the better. Founded in 2015 by Keith Mabbutt, a former footballer and multi-award-winning entrepreneur, the foundation uses football as a tool for personal development and positive transformation.
Their range of impactful projects includes the Street Soccer Academy, a nationally acclaimed program that tackles youth homelessness in England. They also host the Street Soccer Cup, a 5-a-side football tournament held at the Home of England Football, St George's Park. For children and young people in school years 1-13, they offer the Street Soccer Stars programs and projects.
Additionally, the foundation has launched the UK's first adult 5-a-side football leagues with a social heartbeat, called Street Soccer Leagues, which unite communities nationwide. With a strong focus on making a difference in the lives of vulnerable young people, the Street Soccer Foundation is dedicated to creating a positive impact in society
