– Street Souls

Street Souls asbl is an organisation dedicated to giving stray animals from Romania a second chance in loving homes in Luxembourg. It focuses on finding families for dogs and cats, sharing profiles of animals available for adoption and helping prospective adopters learn about their needs. Most of the animals are still waiting at a shelter in Dej, Romania; those identified as being in foster care are currently living with foster families in Luxembourg and can be met there.

The organisation’s website features animals seeking homes, including urgent cases that need a suitable home or an experienced foster placement. It also highlights animals that have been waiting longer for adoption and celebrates those who have found families. Street Souls reports that 340 animals have been successfully placed since 2023. Visitors can browse available dogs and cats, learn more about the adoption process, read about the organisation, and find contact details. The site also invites supporters to contribute to Street Souls’ work and follow its updates on social media.
