Střešní Boxy – Půjčovna is a rental service for drivers who need extra space or specialist carriers for holidays, trips, cycling and winter sports. Rather than buying and storing equipment used only occasionally, customers can hire roof boxes, roof bars, a towbar-mounted bicycle carrier and selected snow chains. The range includes roof boxes from Czech brands Hakr and Neumann, as well as the Thule VeloCompact 926 bike carrier.
Available models vary in size and capacity, with options such as a 320-litre Hakr box, a 630-litre Neumann box and a 450-litre Hakr box. The Thule carrier accommodates three bicycles, with an adapter for up to four available on request, and can transport electric bikes. Rental prices depend on the equipment and hire period, and a refundable deposit is required.
Customers can choose an item, reserve a date, collect it and return it to the rental service. Assistance with fitting the equipment to a vehicle is available free on request. Reservations and returns outside standard opening hours may incur an additional fee
