Stretton Karting, based at Stretton Circuit in Great Stretton near Leicester, offers outdoor motorsport experiences for individuals, families, groups and private vehicle owners. Its 950-metre floodlit circuit features a mix of fast and slow corners, chicanes and hairpin bends, creating a challenge for drivers of different experience levels. Public karting sessions use 270cc Honda petrol-powered karts, which can reach speeds of up to 55 mph, while live race telemetry and lap-time printouts let participants compare their performance.
Services include adult and junior arrive-and-drive sessions, family experiences, birthday party packages, sprint and Grand Prix events, and endurance racing. Junior activities are available from age eight and a minimum height of 1.2 metres; adult karting is for ages 14 and over, with a minimum height of 1.4 metres. Stretton also caters to owner drivers through its Kart Club and Bike Club, offering practice, testing, equipment hire, track hire and race series. Additional features include gift vouchers, karting events, a kart shop and regular kart and bike nights.
