Stride Coalition for Progress in Substance Use Disorder, also known as Stride, is a brand that aims to make positive changes in how substance use disorder is recognized and treated in Monroe County. Founded in 2017, this coalition brings together over 50 public, private, and not-for-profit organizations that are committed to making a lasting impact in the community. Stride recognizes that while there are various resources available for those with substance use disorder in Monroe County, they are not well connected or aligned.

Therefore, the coalition's primary goal is to improve the coordination and accessibility of these resources. Stride offers a continuum of care, ensuring that individuals and their loved ones can find the help they need. Each organization within the coalition provides different stages of care, and Stride helps individuals identify the organization that best suits their needs.
