Strocera

Strocera is a Netherlands-based advanced ceramics company spun out of Sabancı University. Drawing on more than 40 years of ceramics research, it develops specification-driven powders for aerospace, defence, semiconductor, industrial, and other mission-critical applications. Its products are supplied as powders, allowing customers to determine the final geometry in their own facilities. Standard grades are available from stock, and Strocera formulates materials when existing grades do not meet a customer’s requirements.

The product range includes sub-micron alpha alumina powder at 99.5% purity, formulated to suit a customer’s sintering process; an alumina-based adaptive glass-ceramic with adjustable thermal expansion across a validated 100–800 °C range; and Apollo-traceable lunar regolith simulants representing highland and mare soils. The company serves use cases spanning space systems, AI chips and infrastructure, defence, inertial navigation, and industrial technologies. Customers can order a standard grade with published specifications and lot characterization reports, bring a specification for custom formulation, request a quote, or speak with an engineer.
