Stronger Every Year is an inclusive strength, balance and wellbeing academy based in Hampshire, serving individuals, families and care homes across the county and, by arrangement, Oxfordshire, Wiltshire and other areas. Founded by Alex Ralf, who holds a BSc in Sports and Exercise Therapy, the academy offers progressive exercise classes designed to help people of all abilities improve mobility, strength, balance and confidence.

Sessions can include seated, supported and standing exercises, adapted to each participant’s needs and current level. They combine purposeful movement with encouragement, music, social interaction and fun, helping make exercise welcoming and enjoyable. For individuals and families, classes aim to support everyday movement, confidence and independence. For care homes, programmes encourage resident participation, wellbeing, mobility and social connection, including support for people at risk of trips and falls or affected by inactivity.

Stronger Every Year’s approach is built around encouraging participation, enhancing ability through appropriate progression, and celebrating achievements. Personal milestones and planned graduation events help recognise progress, however small.
