Strongsville Youth Hockey Club (SYHC) is a not-for-profit organization serving young hockey players in Strongsville and across Northeast Ohio. Open to players through the 14U level, the club describes itself as the region’s largest youth hockey program. SYHC is a full member of the Cleveland Suburban Hockey League and one of 24 USA Hockey Model Associations focused on youth development.

The club offers fall and winter programs for 8U players and for age groups 10U, 12U, and 14U. Teams include Squirt, Peewee, and Bantam levels, with schedules featuring league games, events, playoffs, and championship competition at ice arenas around the region. Families can find registration details, team placements, schedules, rink locations, policies, waivers, and payment-plan information through the club’s website.

SYHC also provides resources and support for participants and volunteers, including coaching certification and reimbursement information, referee registration, team-management guidance, game-day duties, and expense reporting. Additional offerings include a team shop, concussion information, SafeSport reporting resources, and the Reid Wiley Memorial Scholarship for players and volunteers.
