Studentenwerk Leipzig

Studentenwerk Leipzig is a student services organization supporting students and prospective students in Leipzig. It provides practical services and guidance to help make university life more manageable, covering accommodation, food, finances, wellbeing, mobility, and cultural activities. Students can apply for rooms in student residences, find information about moving in and out, and access services for tenants. Its canteens and cafeterias offer changing menus, with details on prices, payment, ingredients, and allergens available online.

The organization also provides information and assistance on BAföG and other study-financing options, including application guidance, repayment information, and financial support. Its advisory services include social, psychological, and legal counselling, as well as support related to disability, parenting, international study, and refugee needs. Additional offerings include student job placement, mobility information, events, cultural funding, and activities in student residences. Online resources such as an app, an interactive map, and current meal plans help students find services and updates. Studentenwerk Leipzig serves students at several Leipzig-based universities and higher education institutions.
